This is purely in the field of Instrumentation & Automation for various Process, Plant Machinery manufacturers or any Industry which uses various instruments . Many of the field instrument companies in Automation do not have their own PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) or DCS (Distributed Control Systems) system. Even if they have then they work for some standard application. We look at the application requirement which is does not fit with these standard items but requires to be created which is NON-STANDARD.
That means there is no direct solution to the requirements by any of the suppliers, Typical case below will give some ideas.
The customer has the Gas monitoring Instruments, Temperature transmitters, Pressure transmitters, Oxygen analyzer to be supplied to their client. Their business is to win the order for supply of these instruments. But their end client wants all the data in form of Display in the local control rooms, Central control rooms, some calculations, Export of data to Management systems etc. |

Look & Study with the available documents & see what method of communication does each instruments have
|

Make the site visits if necessary to collect the relevant data
|
|
|
Based on that we design a system which accepts the data, be it 4-20mA, On/Off signals, Modbus, Profibus, HART etc

Bring this data in the Local control room on the local displays(Human machine Interface HMI)
|
|
|
From there take the data to Central control room where the data from all field instruments is used to make some computations |

|
Display the field values, Computed values in form of a Graphic/Text display

|
|
Record Trends in real-time & store the data for Historical analysis |
|
|
Generate periodic reports based on customer needs

|
Export data in form of Excel to Management systems |

|
In certain cases we can integrate the Laboratories data of the industries to their control rooms through a configurable software application |

Preparation of Loop Drawings, Data sheets, Instrument hookup diagrams, P&I Diagrams, Cable schedules, Cable / Wire lists or any other customer specific documents. |
