Experience: 1–3 Years
Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in E&TC / Electrical / Electronics
Preferred: MBA or equivalent (added advantage)
CTC: As per interview and experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming business enquiries and maintain regular follow-ups with customers until successful order conversion.

  • Communicate with customers via email and phone to understand project goals and sales requirements.

  • Process purchase orders in a timely manner, ensuring complete understanding of customer needs.

  • Track and manage open sales orders, taking appropriate steps to complete transactions efficiently.

  • Coordinate with vendors for product development, costing, and procurement.

  • Define bidding guidelines and negotiate optimal combinations of price, quality, and delivery timelines.

  • Prepare and negotiate sales and service agreements.

  • Offer tailored technical solutions based on project-specific requirements.

  • Follow up on dispatch status and ensure timely payment collections.

  • Maintain and regularly update booking, stock, and dispatch records.

  • Conduct monthly reviews of stock and book orders accordingly.

  • Collaborate with the field sales team to meet or exceed sales targets.

  • Generate new leads and provide technical support during the pre-sales process.

  • Contribute to the development of new business opportunities and customer relationships.

  • Manage and maintain SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) documentation.

  • Maintain and update supplier records and documentation periodically.

  • Track and report key metrics to optimize cost and enhance sales process efficiency.


Required Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proven experience in Inside Sales within the automation industry

  • Thorough understanding of product sales processes in Automation OEM / System Integrators / Project business

  • Strong skills in customer mapping and relationship management

  • Efficient time management and negotiation capabilities

  • Customer support and business development experience

  • Familiarity with material import processes

  • Technical aptitude to understand and address client requirements

  • Proficiency in MS Office and business communication tools
