Journey So Far

UL Group, a name that piques curiosity, was born in 1995, deriving its distinctive name from the initials of its visionary co-founders, Mr. Uday Jadhav and Mr. Lalit Sahani – ‘U’ and ‘L’.

From its inception, the company embarked on a remarkable journey, commencing as UL Electrodevices Pvt Ltd, a distribution company with a resolute focus on technology-driven strategies and application-based product promotion. Over the years, UL Electrodevices has not only become a trusted partner to renowned businesses across India but has also garnered the attention of international companies seeking partnerships and support in India. Today, the UL Electrodevices proudly collaborates with nearly sixteen prominent European, American and Asian firms.

Recognizing the potential of diverse products and applications, UL Group ventured into value addition. In 1998, U L Automation Systems Pvt Ltd was established, expanding its offerings to include relay modules, PLC-specific wiring solutions, CNC interface cards, cable harnesses, and customized solutions. Presently, UL Automation boasts a rich portfolio of over two thousand designs of cards and cable solutions, compatible with leading systems such as Honeywell, Siemens, L&T, Rockwell, Invensys, Emerson, ABB, Yokogawa, GE, Fanuc, and more.

For UL Group, the customer has always been the most enlightening teacher. An idea sparked by a customer led to the birth of UL Systems & Controls India Pvt Ltd in 2003. This forward integration company revolutionized the manufacturing of Marshalling Panels, System Cabinets, Panels for Machine Tools, Wind Power, Turbine Excitation, and custom-built solutions. Today, UL Systems & Controls houses a state-of-the-art panel manufacturing facility adhering to the highest quality standards, audited and trusted by global giants like Honeywell, Alstom, and wind power companies. The UL Systems & Controls also undertakes comprehensive projects in hardware and software engineering, drawings, documentation, graphics, logic software configuration for various DCS & PLC systems, FAT Services, SAT services, and migration to CAE software. We have a proven track record with numerous prestigious projects.

In 2023, UL GROUP was announced as the First Certified Assembly Partner for Eaton’s Crouse Hinds series ATEX and IECEx explosion-protected equipment in India under the #MakeinIndia banner. This partnership will enhance UL’s offerings to its customers for critical applications of lighting, enclosures-cable and conduit wiring solutions, hazardous area control stations, plugs-receptacles and connectors, power panels and motor controls across various industry segments like Oil and gas, etc.
